MEXICO

Mexico is located in America. It is a very cultural country. I can define it as a party spot. Living in Mexico has it's goods and bads.

The good things are that there are many open minded people, like really, everywhere you go there will be people who talks openly to you like you have known each other for many long time. People always do team work, is like you have asked for help even though you didn't. Also there is something very special about living in Mexico, the food. God, i don't even know how to describe the glorious mexican food. You can find tacos everywhere, and all of them are great.
Also there is the famous Chinese food. Better than in China. There are traditional dishes like Menudo, Pozole, Birria, Enchiladas, Sopes, Gorditas, Etc. These are some examples of the typical gastronomy.

On of the things I dislike about Mexico is the economy, education and in some place the weather. The politicians work for themselves, they don't do too much for us, and when they do, there will always be more benefits for them. The poor country doesn't have much means. Mexican people always work for what they need when they need it. We're very conformists, but a very working people.

There are many place you can visit in Mexico, like Jalisco, Puebla, Baja California Sur, Chiapas, Queretaro, D.F, Puerto Vallarta(located in Jalisco), Sinaloa, Sonora, Yucatan, Campeche, etc.
Al these places have a lot of culture and traditions which are really great to live.

This is just a part of the song Hey Mister Mister of Kool G.Rap. I didn't want to add the whole lyrics because it was very violent.

I didn't like at all the lyrics, even though it has a good rythm, when you actually put attention to it you can notice how this man is talking bad about his girl. He also is telling everybody and leaving the girl on ridiculous, because she cheated on him. I don't think this is the kind of songs people want to hear, unleast some people pass through the same hard moments but it doesn't mean is cool to talk like this, and thinking he's the biggest and the best. This is a violent song which wouldn't be healthy for young people ears.

5.My feeling about TV is that it's not good for anyone to have it in the bedroom.
6.My opinion about TV is that is a good thing because there are lots of good educational programs.
7.The problem with TV is that there are too many commercials and not enough good shows.
8.Teachers are concerned about children that are watching so much TV these days.

My nutrition career

I'm a nutrition student. It has been 1 month since my first day of class and I'm already in love with my career. A couple of months ago I wouldn't imagine I would be here. I were going to study industrial engineering because of family business. I wasn't very sure of doing the admission test so I started asking myself why did I was being very negative about entering university. 

One day, a man went to my high school to make a discourse about his career. He told us to do what we really want, what we're passionate about, because in the future we where going to wake up every morning for work and the desicions we make today are the ones that are going to keep us forward and motivated. 

Since he told us that, my mind changed completely, I started wondering if I was choosing correctly, something inside me was telling me to not to do it. Then I started thinking what did I really wanted, what kept me passionated, what were my talents and what I enjoyed doing. When I get deep in my thoughts I started figuring out that my real passion was being healthy, exercising and food. I decided to search for some areas who could relate to my interests. And by just being a fitness girl, who trained hard, make diet, and made researches by herself just for fun about nutrition and exercising, i totally decided to ask for information on universities about this career.

When i came to UVM, there was a lady who gave me all the information needed to fall in love with the idea of taking classes about nutrition. Then I came up to my parents and told them that I changed my mind and I wanted to study nutrition. They agreed and went very happy about my decision because they saw me very excited about it.

At this moment, I can tell i'm very enthusiastic about what i'm doing and why i'm doing it. I want to help many people to change their lifestyles, to feel better about themselves and to be more comfortable with their bodies and the way they take care of them. It is amazing how being healthy makes you live life way better, with more quality and less negativity.
